Since 2018, there's been a wave of new, young talent coming out of New York City within Hip-Hop --  specifically the 'drill' sub-genre, which was popularized by the late, great Pop Smoke. Having started his career that year as well is Brooklyn's own DayDay Flex.

Inspired by the likes of Pop, Rah Swish, Curly Savv, and Lil Durk. -- DayDay has just three official songs out, and is already well on his way to joining the status of those just mentioned.

His debut track "Big Steppa" was released in 2020 and racked in an impressive 50k views on YouTube. He then followed up last year with "Top Dawg," amassing more than double views with that official video -- 125k and counting to be exact.

As for 2022, DayDay appropriately released "Don't Miss" at the top of the month. The official video was shot and directed by WonTon Designs, with the audio production handled by MP Beatz, J1 GTB and Jimmy Lean Beatz. He has two more records ready and waiting, so stay locked in for those as well in the coming weeks.

Even with the 'drill' scene being somewhat oversaturated now, the crown of New York is open for the taking, and sooner than later, Day is set to 'flex' his way to the top for it.
