Prompted by hyperactivity, extreme sports, and maximalist living, the brazen track titled "NINE" tells a story of discovering your own nine lives. Informed by Nu Metal's modern contemporaries in 2023, this ugly step-child of chaos is fronted by lead singer and producer Daym. Self-produced, the LA-based artist had the likes of Champagne B (Rook, Grant Kemp, Superkreep) to scratch, Will Useman (Eurotripp, AEG, Xposureworld) on drums, Sam Madill (MGK) to engineer, as well as Kevin McCombs (A Day To Remember, Papa Roach) to mix and master.
In 2017 Daym made a debut through the outlet of top lining on electronic music. Working with Fluencie, Daym supported live shows with the likes of Blackbear, Joyryde, GANZ, and Said the Sky. Then furthering their career as a supporting artist, Daym began to work with the hardcore popstar Tezatalks. From the lead guitar and backing vocalist for Tezatalks as an opener for FKA Twigs Afropunk in 2019, to going on an East Coast tour with famed danish singer MØ, it was only a matter of time before Daym got the chops to relinquish a solo project rising to the surface.
