Introspective lyrics, melodic vocals, and versatility, DazedKevin (Kevin Carlos) is everything you want to see out of an artist. Growing up in a melting pot that is Sun Valley, California, he witnessed many parts of society; relationships, gang activity, drugs, but also the hustle of the lower and middle class, all of which would ultimately influence his character and transcend to his music. Embarking on his music career at the age of 17 as an outcast in high school, he went from freestyling to beats and listening to music with friends on lunch tables, to forming an Independent Record Label/Collective dubbed "Aikido Notion" with one of his close friends/sound engineer "Goob". Eventually gaining buzz as an artist in his hometown after the release of his EPs "Love in Lust", "Far From The Moment", "A Moment in Babylon", and a string of solo singles right after, he would go on to work on his soon to be released debut album "Mixed Emotions". His debut album, “Mixed Emotions,” showcases his immense talent as a songwriter, complete mastery over his vocals on poppy ballads and lyrically conscious rap verses. DazedKevin’s music genre ranges from Melodic Rap, Alternative Hip Hop, to Contemporary R&B and Pop. His music contains his life story of life’s challenges, his success, and his world, all while evolving himself and his sound on planet earth.
