Drum and bass Dj, producer, label owner and broadcaster, Dazee champions a jungle-jump-up hybrid style characterised by the warmth of her “Bristol Sound” roots.
Resident for one of the UKs largest dnb brands, Run and a regular player at major events such as Glastonbury, Hospitality, Love Saves The Day and Westfest, Dazee has relentlessly pursued her jungle campaign on airwaves and dance floors across the globe for three decades.
Dazee’s career began playing “Hardcore Jungle Techno” at free parties and raves in her hometown of Bristol, UK. She teamed up with fellow raver, Markee Ledge to create Ruffneck Ting, now Bristol’s longest running jungle club night and label. Armed with her own dubplates, Dazee became a regular at all the major 90’s raves, including Universe, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, and Hysteria. Her notoriety grew with performances with the likes of Stevie Hyper D, Bassman and MC Jakes, captured on tape packs, plus featured mixes on BBC Radio 1, Galaxy 101, BBC 1Xtra and HTV’s “Sounds Of The West” TV documentary
Her signature rolling bass, stepper style breaks and sample-based motifs have evolved with her production techniques and her bouncy, fluid and musical DJ style has become a winner for fitness brands and world class stages alike. Recently celebrating her label’s 30th anniversary with performances in epic settings including The Arcadia Spider, Dazee is blazing into 2024 with two albums, a SWU Fm residency and a host of performances home and away.
