DB Cohen

Born in South London and raised on Bob Dylan, The Kinks and Cream, D.B Cohen's sound is described by his producer Snowboy, as a cross between Paul Weller, Ray Davies, Bob Dylan, early-Stones, Chicago Blues and 2-Tone Ska.

Drawing on 10 years of traveling the world, outrageous adventures in the South Pacific and working as a special needs teacher, he recorded his debut album 'Scratchcards & Wine' with the guidance of Dan’s musical mentor and producer, legendary Latin percussionist, Snowboy.

Quickly building up a following in the Mod and Roots music world, he has been playing UK festivals complete with band and brass section, supporting such luminaries such as The Blockheads, Terry Reid and The Songbook Collective.

Dan has had various songs placed on TV and Film worldwide and is honoured to have signed a worldwide publishing deal with Fairwood Music, whose roster has included David Bowie, Bob Marley & U2. He's endorsed by top fashion brand Merc and has been selected as emerging talent by Glastonbury Festival and has earned rave reviews for his unique brand of modern roots music.
