De Geai

Glenroy A Pickersgill ❌ known by his stage name "De Geai " and previously known as Jay X, is a Jamaican recording artist/songwriter. Born in the parish of Kingston and raised in Downtown Kingston, he attended Tivoli Garden Comprehensive High School. He migrated to America while in grade 10 and later completed his studies at Monroe Community College.


Growing up music as always been a passion of "De Geai " while in school. When he began writing his own songs, at first it was just a way of venting his thoughts with pen and paper but after receiving good feedback from free-styling he decided to start pursuing music as a career. De Geai deep passion for music which goes beyond just recording and songwriting, he also enjoys producing and directing videos.


De Geai loves music and the different level of creativity it gives an artist. In such he tries to be as creative as possible with his music. He believes music to be a "universal language" and he wants his much to speak to everyone near and far. By infusing his unique sound to different genres of music, he believes this will help to expand his musical talents, showcase his growth, and broaden his fanbase to all corners of the World. Some of his musical influences include artists like Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Tupac, Biggie and legendary Bob Marley.
De Geai is currently working on releasing his first EP entitled "New Chapter" in summer 2020 which will be produced by his music label "IceGang".
