Formally known as Rishi Desikan, De$ is an alternative hip hop artist that was born in South Brunswick, New Jersey. He derives inspiration from artists such as <a href="spotify:artist:4xRYI6VqpkE3UwrDrAZL8L" data-name="Logic">Logic</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:246dkjvS1zLTtiykXe5h60" data-name="Post Malone">Post Malone</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:4MCBfE4596Uoi2O4DtmEMz" data-name="Juice WRLD">Juice WRLD</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0fA0VVWsXO9YnASrzqfmYu" data-name="Kid Cudi">Kid Cudi</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:0Y5tJX1MQlPlqiwlOH1tJY" data-name="Travis Scott">Travis Scott</a>. Through his classical background in Indian/Classical music and Acapella experience, he aspires to paint pictures about his life and day-to-day decisions. For De$, it&#39;s not about blowing up to be famous or worshiped, but rather about resonating with people that need it.

Following the release of his debut single &#34;<a href="spotify:album:6Egxn3xluDqdog2pQnOZBr" data-name="WORTH IT">WORTH IT</a>&#34;, De$ went on to release a 5 song EP called &#34;<a href="spotify:album:6hDf915hPpWhCYkajeM8uQ" data-name="Lockdown Love">Lockdown Love</a>.&#34; The project garnered plenty of attention and has received praise from some top industry prospects. After moving to Massachusetts to pursue an education at Boston University, De$ released his first studio-album titled &#34;<a href="spotify:album:5Q7dw9GNXM6Zw9889finDs" data-name="Destiny &amp; Destruction">Destiny &amp; Destruction</a>.&#34; Despite being his first crack at stardom, De$ generated enough attention from the album to help push a handful of singles such as <a href="spotify:album:3cIR7HkPJgmBsrDaoQLttI" data-name="Sunshine In The Rain">Sunshine In The Rain</a>, <a href="spotify:track:3nSwzh9Rezmpek5mVueJgM" data-name="hold me">hold me</a>, and his 5 song R&amp;B Soul EP - <a href="spotify:album:254zZW3FcJGP64W8BboMmx" data-name="Took a Trip to the End.">Took a Trip to the End.</a>

Alongside childhood friends <a href="spotify:artist:3NuG8nIPw2mfjCSXoAuA7G" data-name="VSHNU">VSHNU</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:0348cSkflvp8lMQFpe0VuJ" data-name="Sinco">Sinco</a>, and producer <a href="spotify:artist:2JULg30GldXdQZPUVjJTaH" data-name="Minute Made">Minute Made</a>, De$ formed the collective known as &#34;Night Crawlers&#34; honing in on psychedelic-rage elements that are not seen often in hip-hop. As of today, he has released the first volume <a href="spotify:album:4EVRY2g8ocKT66FZ7VXMWd" data-name="Night Crawlers I: Dusk til Dawn">Night Crawlers I: Dusk til Dawn</a> but has been perfecting volume II for the past few months.
