Formed by The Underneath (Jay) and ASHER, the band set out to inject narrative storytelling into the modern alternative rock scene. Recruiting Lilith from Your Sixth Sense and Jack from <a href="spotify:artist:3tXO400Jo1A01SzF2IpfRA" data-name="LAKEDOWN">LAKEDOWN</a> rounded out the lineup, and something special began.
Describing their influences as Arctic Monkeys, The 1975, Interpol, Nirvana, Twenty One Pilots, Peirce The Veil, The Strokes and even Sex Bomb-Omb, the group pull ideas from various sources to make something they hope is unique. With Jay's grooving production and lyrical depth; Asher's catchy bass licks & memorable chords; Lilith's tender emotional performance & anarchic energy plus Jack's deep musical history & unforgettable guitar solos, the band are not to be underestimated.
Their first EP 'In My Nightmares, You Still Say I Love You' was launched to enormous success, telling the story of an 'incel' and an abusive relationship. They gained a loyal fanbase from those first few songs, and learned from what works for their new record which will be announced soon.
