Dead Parrot Society

Dead Parrot Society, a dynamic four-piece band hailing from various corners of Norway, has been electrifying the music scene with their raw, impulse-driven rock since 2016.

Their sound—a gritty blend of punk rock infused with elements of garage, stoner rock, and an unexpected twist of ABBA—breaks traditional boundaries, offering fans a unique and exhilarating musical experience.

Initially embracing a DIY ethos, Dead Parrot Society began their recording journey in a makeshift basement studio, using old mattresses for sound isolation. Since then, they have evolved, recording in professional studios equipped with state-of-the-art sound isolation.

Throughout their career, Dead Parrot Society has released an array of singles, EPs, and even a cassette, each earning acclaim and airplay on national radio. They've made notable appearances on punk compilation albums and have delivered electrifying live performances across Oslo.

In August 2021, they released "Let Them Eat Fake," featured on "2021: Pønk i Norge." This was followed by the release of their third EP, "Welcome to Funtopia," in February 2023.

In 2024 they went back to basic and recorded their latest single themselves. Somewhere, is set to release on June 14, 2024.
