Dead Silence Music

Hailing from the sunny east coast of England Dead Silence Music was formed by producers GMac and Rodney Gatt in late 2019, almost from our inception we’ve worked closely with South African rapper Jaytee Ultimate. Having heard Jaytee destroy the mic we knew he would be a valued asset to have and after some time he became a fully affiliated member of Dead Silence Music.
With a shared interest in old school boombap, inspired by real life events and artists such as Nate Dogg, 2Pac and N.W.A. Dead Silence aim to provide bangers without the typical drama of “New Rap”. No nonsense! The new age of rap is what gave us the motivation to get on the mic and bring old school back.
Starting with early collaborations with Kastro and Features Tornado and developing over time as producers we then decided to pick up the mic with no prior experience halfway through 2020. Collaborating heavily with Hailo and producer Tazzah P, our first 3 singles dropped in September 2021. Dead Silence Music are slowly taking the underground scene with what we call Deathfunk. A mash of Death rap, G funk and classic boombap. Strap yourselves in.
