deadwinter is a Montreal-based dark electronic producer who has been active since his earliest days on SoundCloud in 2014. Formerly known as KTNG, he carved out a sound entirely his own.

He explored the boundaries of the project — experimenting with songwriting and vocal performance before returning to what it always demanded: pure instrumental music, cold and uncompromising.

Forged through years working with collectives such as TITAN and XXI, his production carries the DNA of those scenes: dark, atmospheric, and built to a standard that demands its own category — notably earning play on BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM. Five releases on Dreamscape, a label carrying serious weight in dark electronic music alongside artists like Oneheart. Collaborations with akiaura; Craig Owens of Chiodos and badxchannels; 93feetofsmoke; and fleece of TeamSesh.

Sounds found in the places most won't enter — cold architecture, heavy low end, and an emotional weight somewhere between isolation and transcendence.
