After a few years of holding parties in Chapel Hill, NC, DJ Dean Coleman moved to Atlanta and gained some attention for his bootleg mixes of Peter Heller's "Big Love" and Narcotic Thrust's "Safe from Harm." The Narcotic Thrust mix was eventually picked up for official release through Deep Dish's Yoshitoshi label, which kicked off a slew of productions for Deep Touch, Kid Dynamite, 12X12, and Bitmotor. He also maintained a consistent DJing schedule throughout the first half of the 2000s, with stops all over the globe. ~ Andy Kellman, Rovi
