Deanna Burton is a song writer/worship leader located in Amarillo, TX. She has grown up in the church with parents who are now pastors of Yes Lord. As she has grown up she has found that Jesus is everything. Growing up as a PK she has discovered the power of unity in a room.
Her passion is to write music that inspires people to go after the Lord in the pure vehicle of worship, to give new language for people to sing, and declare over themselves; as well as, their families. That as you listen you find the Father within the melodies, lyrics, and rhythms of each song. Deanna has been leading worship since 2015, and graduated from Bethel Music College in 2021. After graduating she discovered how beautiful the body of Christ is, and that songwriting comes from all of your history with Jesus. Her music is from the place of discovery that she is not only a daughter, but a bride. Her belief is that creativity is the bridge to epiphany.
Deanna enjoys the simplicity of life. The sunlight coming through the window, the sound of conversation in a room full of people, and even the quietness of the night when everyone has already gone to sleep. Whether it is cleaning, painting, writing, reading, or driving, Deanna believes Jesus is in the midst of it all. Each moment can not be replicated; therefore, one must take the time to enjoy it. What better way to capture it than through art?
