Since a young age, music has had a massive impact on De'Ante's life. Growing up in a musically inclined family, De'Ante Roberts, the oldest of 3 boys, began playing the drums at the age of 7 years old. Throughout his years in church, De'Ante grew up listening to his mother, sing and play the piano every Sunday where he than began to gain an interest in singing and was part of a choir. Years later, De'Ante moved to California where he learned to play piano, guitar, and obtained a new profound passion for singing and songwriting. With major influences from singers and songwriters such as Mario, Musiq Soulchild, Frank Ocean, Tank, Tyrese, Brandy, and many more. De'Ante has grown vocally and lyrically, while guiding other artists to success with his assistance. De'Ante's biggest aspiration is to reach listeners by bringing a new vibe to the R&B category, whether it be through singing and/or songwriting. He aims to show other rising stars that with hard work and determination, anything is possible.
