Deborah Levoy’s music, a fusion of folk, jazz and rock, is fierce and fearless, dreamy and delicate, lush and plaintive all at once. Her lyrics radiate intelligence, compassion, and a poet’s love for language. Levoy possesses a riveting stage presence that is as irresistible as her versatile, soulful and expressive voice.

After taking time off to raise her daughter, Levoy is back in the studio recording her fourth album, Extraordinary Muse, a lush soundscape of vocals, guitar, piano, acoustic bass, cello and violin. In Muse, she has drawn on her love of wild places and work as a climate activist to explore her relationship with nature.

Levoy has performed at some of the nation's most prestigious venues and showcases, including the Great American Music Hall, Iron Horse Music Hall, Kerrville Folk Festival, and ASCAP’s Quiet on the Set. She has received numerous songwriting awards including First Place in the Unisong International Contest, Mid-Atlantic National Competition and West Coast Songwriting Contest.
