Debra creates music that invites the listener on a journey. She grew up in Duluth, Minnesota, with Lake Superior as her backyard. The lake and the pristine wilderness surrounding it, influenced the sounds that she composed with strings and her piano. She believes that the quiet wilderness allowed her to hear God easier. Even the wild and tempest storms on Lake Superior spoke to her of the magnitude and power of God’s Creation. Debra's desire is that the music would open a pathway for her listener that she has journeyed on herself. To help them connect with their heart and then ultimately with God. The sound is mesmerizing and moves like water, its music that's alive to inspire and to heal.
