Decimation System is a death metal band, founded in February 2016 in the province of San José, Costa Rica. The alignment since its inception has been constant, being Jouset Vargas a charge of vocals and bass, Marco Rojas in drums & perscussion and Pedro Calderón in guitar and second voices.
On March 20th, 2017, they recorded their first EP, which consists of three tracks. On January 15th 2019, their full-length recording work called The Conspiracy Theory, which consists of 8 tracks, is on sale.
This new material has a lyrical concept which refers to a criticism against the New World Order and all negative aspects that all world organizations are affecting society as wars, consumerism, famines, chemical food, etc.
The band kick off their live performances in 2017 at the local level in several provinces of the country. On April 1, 2017, the band performed at the Rage of Death festival in México, then finishing the year with an important presentation in Nicaragüa in the Thy Kingdom Comes. The band continues performing during 2018 in different shows along the country.
The band is on tour of presentation of its first album, The Conspiracy Latin America Tour, giving shows in Guatemala, El Salvador, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Argentina and Chile.
