Deonta Darnell Robinson known professionally as Dee The OG, is an American rapper,songwriter from Cleveland Ohio. Growing up he was deeply influenced by southern rap music. His older cousins where huge fans of Scarface, Pimp C, Master P and Bun B. He took a liking to the beats and rhyme patterns of those artist. Later Dee The OG feel in love with lyrics. He was obsessed with Studying and listening to Nas, Jay Z, DMX and Cleveland legend group Bone to name a few. In 2011 he released his first mixtape titled Reporting Live From Cleveland. Then followed up with an collaboration project with fellow rap artist TJ titled Yo Beat Ain't Safe in 2013. The two projects did well giving Dee The OG a boost to release his second solo project 1-2-1 The True Story in 2016. With creative and diverse lyrics and delivery along with crafty instrumentals he is a heavy hitter on the underground music scene.
