Dee Universe otherwise know as Daniel Newman is a producer and singer songwriter/ hip hop artrist based out of Nashville, Tn. He has set his creative sights on social awareness and executes these issues in cerebral and deep melodic sounds. In a city that is dominated by the status quo DeeUniverse and CitiKel are working around the clock to help etch out the budding electronic and hip hop scene that is present underneath whats meets the eye.
The duo have been writing together in music city since 2009 and are finally able to bring to the public thier vision of what music means to them. They operate under the independent record label Zen City Records in hopes to be an integral part of sidestepping the old system of distribution and create one of many decentralized musical platforms to benefit future generations.
