Born on January 15, 2003, in Nicoya, Guanacaste, Deeikel represents the new generation of Costa Rican urban music: fresh, authentic, and without borders. From a very young age, music has been part of his life, growing up in a family environment shaped by sounds and emotions, laying the foundation for a career that is now gaining momentum both locally and internationally.

His breakthrough came in December 2021 with “Rezas,” a release that surpassed 2 million streams in its first month and made its way onto Central American charts, quickly positioning him as one of the most promising artists in Costa Rica’s urban scene. This momentum continued with “GOYO,” a key track that strengthened his connection with audiences and showcased his ability to create hits with a fresh, infectious vibe and a unique identity.

Since then, Deeikel has continued to rise, building a versatile catalog and collaborating with international artists such as Symon Dice, Rafa Pabón and Konshens. Beyond the numbers, his music stands out for its honesty and energy, reflecting an evolving identity with a clear vision: to innovate, connect, and represent Costa Rican talent on the global stage.
