The Deep Jimi and the Zep Creams saga starts in a small garage in Keflavik Iceland when four teenagers started playing songs by their favorite bands, obviously some might say :) Soon they were on their way to America were they snatched up a record deal after having played 30 gigs in those three months in the big apple. From their 6.floor 2.Av,4-5 ST apartment they packed their gear and travelled 6 stores down, stacked the whole gear in the yellow cab drum set,bass amplifier,guitar amplifier, instruments and a microphone :) I cant say that they looked forward to the trip back those 6 stores waiting and all. It was exhausting but at the same time exhilarating times for the band as they loved playing live and still do. They signed a record deal with Atco-East/West and released their first album Funky Dinosaur which was produced by Kramer in 1992.
