Deeper in Zen started Soular Records with Mind Warped and Onnomon in 2001. Releasing their first single on the compilation “Awakening” in 2001 which also featured artists like Atomic Pulse and Wizzy Noise. Followed up by their 2nd album “Balance in 2002, “Insight” was released the following year in 2003.


DIZ spent two years in the studio recording a double album “TAO” which was released in 2005. TAO featured on CD of full on psytrance and the other CD was ambient chill out, to reflect the dualistic nature of the universe. Playing festivals across the planet in Morocco, Japan, Turkey, Europe and America Deeper in Zen built a reputation for hard hitting full on psytrance


In 2006 Deeper in Zen joined with Sonic Motion Records out of Paris and began releasing singles and released "Slience" in 2007. Working with Mad Maxx and United Beats Records Deeper in Zen did two collaborations on the tracks “Kecak Ganda” and “Rainbow Body State” which slammed dance floors the world over during the 2012 Mayan Calendar year.

After taking a number of years off, Deeper in Zen is back and has expanded to include fellow producer Vex to the lineup in 2022.
