He became enamored with music when his parents gifted him his first guitar at 16 years old, developing his passion for unique sounds and melodies. He started a rock band with close friends and after releasing a 5 track EP, they performed in cities across his home state of Texas. Born in Karachi, Pakistan, he moved to the US when he was just a baby. Early musical influences he heard around the house were from the likes of Sajjad Ali and Abida Parveen. Deewana began writing music seriously in his late teens, using his guitar, laptop, and a USB microphone, putting out acoustic songs such as “Baby Please Believe Me” and “Not Goin’ Nowhere” when he was 21. Progressing further, he began to drop music online under the name Aitch (H). His new songs had more of a mainstream sound and saw him performing at talent shows, venues, and colleges.
This laid the groundwork for a new vibe.. Deewana had come to life and took to the studio to record his most unique and versatile songs yet. Deewana spent most of 2018 working on the music that would become his hits for 2019 and beyond.
