Meet Dosunmu Adedayo Ridwan also known as Deewave, the versatile performing Indie artiste and skilled songwriter hailing from Mushin, Lagos, Nigeria. His artistry is a fusion of creative brilliance, and his eccletic lyrics and sweet musical melodies are his true forte.

Launching his professional music journey in 2017, Deewave have crafted an impressive portfolio. His songwriting and artistic journey so far has helped him grace tracks like WALE by Candy Bleakz, and also FREE FOR ALL(FFA) by Candy Bleakz featuring Badboytimz.
He has also been able to work with notable producers including rexxiepondbeat, rewardbeatz, larrylanes, damie, yoxgiddem, 01frnch, Sparrq, Jaytunes and more.


Since 2021, Deewave has put out songs like Cruise, Jonze, Cocaine, Brazilian Homes and Like it featuring Zeezy, and these projects has helped him build a cult-like and loyal fan base who connect to his music and new refreshing sound.

His style is a broadly Afro-pop, however he has a voice that is able to ascend above the beats on which his style is embedded, and in songs like Jonze, he has shown to have an understanding of rhythms which could be likened to Afro & Neo-soul roots.
One thing is for sure, we will definitely be seeing him at the top of the new unique sounds coming out of Nigeria and Afrobeat in general.
