DEFFIE is Mike Perry, a 23-year-old producer who found his beginnings in the rather well known suburb of Orange County, California. Raised from the jump as a hip-hop head by his father, Mike fell in love with early 2000's artists such as Pharrell Williams, Nate Dogg, Kanye West, and OutKast. Soon after discovering the music workshop FL Studio at age 11, he began to hone in a craft that he would later find to be his lifelong pursuit. In 2012, he discovered the power of uploading to websites like Soundcloud, and the community that these sites offered. Collaborators like ROM, Oshi, Mr. Carmack, ProducedbyTHC, Kyle, and Josh Pan latched on over the next few years that passed, adding to the roots of a rapidly evolving career.
Already well experienced in the industry and the international scene, Deffie has paid visits to clubs in Seoul, London, Paris, Amsterdam, and Hamburg among other major European cities. In his hometown of Los Angeles, he's played sold out shows at The Novo, Avalon, UNION, Exchange, and The Regent, along with other venues across the region.
