Dega Putra is an aspiring singer-songwriter from Jakarta, Indonesia. Having a keen interest in linguistics (and just a little bit of ego), Dega wishes to tell the world of his stories with an acoustic guitar resonating his words.
For years now, Dega has wandered around wondering about his purpose in Life. He sings about love, both towards others and himself. Naturally, Dega finds meaning in music and hopes to share his journey with whoever lends their ears.
Dega's first EP, "The Long Drive", is an effort of understanding 'home' and the ideas surrounding it. It's a small glimpse of Dega's journey of finding and losing 'homes' throughout the last 15 years. Truly a collection of stories and lessons he has experienced and discovered; A self-reflection that he put into words, and then, songs.
