Delah Dube makes music for your waist, cerebellum, and spirit - fusing Afro-percussive grooves, divergent R&B and soul, with bold poetry rooted in African feminism and culture. Her sound features live instrumentation, hip-hop-inspired drum patterns, and silky, airy vocals layered with vivid imagery and emotional depth.
With a rich background in theatre and performance, she brings a commanding presence to the stage — having performed in different parts of the African continent, and internationally across Sweden, Germany, France, Belgium, and Pakistan. In May 2025, she lit up the BK Arena in Kigali during the Basketball Africa League (BAL), a landmark NBA-backed event symbolizing her mission to empower African youth through art, sport, and culture.
Her debut EP, Hinc Orior (Latin for “From here, I rise”), is a declaration of resilience and rebirth. It blends music and spoken word to explore themes of desire, grief, womanhood, and personal evolution — with a defiant, Afro-futurist voice that thrives against adversity.
Having contributed to organizations like Strictly Soul— Africa’s largest R&B experience, UNDP on a campaign raising awareness about tech-facilitated gender-based violence and local NGOs Through her work, she continues to nurture a growing global community of thriving, future-facing African youth.
