Delano Jooste

Delano Jooste is a singer songwriter and artist from George, South Africa. Who truly lives to inspire hope in others. He is passionate about music composition, production and lyrical content that is new and fresh. He aspires to expand the horizons of his listeners by taking them on a journey of discovery and wonder as well as healing and self reflection through his songs.
Born and bred in Pretoria he now lives in Cape Town in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. Delano grew up loving music as his parents introduced him to the world of music at a very young age. He started playing the violin when he was six, and guitar when he was twelve teaching himself to play guitar. Delano is a multi instrumentalist. He plays the violin, acoustic guitar, bass, electric guitar, and a little bit of keys .His greatest passion remains songwriting. He started writing songs when he was twelve years old. He believes that songwriting is like opening a tap that is clogged with dirt at first and then the water flow clears the path for pure songs that balance truth, poetry and clarity. His debut single " Raise the Alarm” released on 17 June 2022 which introduced him as an exciting new artist.
