Born & raised in the landscape of Western Sydney, upcoming Hip-Hop & RnB artist Delawou calls on his own life experiences and realities to fuel his art. With the versatility to channel different emotions through a number of genres, Delawou is able to capture the audience with his skilful writing and clever wordplay.
After being taken under the wings of already established artists such as Kennyon Brown & @Donell Lewis so early in his career, it was there he was able to hone in on his craft both inside and outside of the studio having been able to perform 40+ shows from 2019/20, being involved in 5 tours and performing all over Australia, New Zealand & USA.
Having mounted a great deal of experience in a short amount of time, Delawou was able to display a part of his skill set while featuring on one of the most popular Hip-Hop songs in Australia in 2020. Linking with fellow Western Sydney rapper Jaecy to create “What’s Good”, it didn’t take long for the song to gather traction racking up 9 million streams/views and also being featured regularly on radio stations such as The Edge 96.1, Triple J and a number of local and interstate stations. Having been added to over 100,000 playlists, it is no doubt that Delawou has made his own means of entry into the Australian music scene.
