Demon Spine was formed in 2023 in Beveren, Belgium, and is an upcoming metal band from the Waasland region. The group was founded by then 12- and 13-year-old members Niels, Lenn, Kobe, and Sus. Despite their young age, the band draws inspiration from legendary 2000s acts like Korn, Slipknot, and Rage Against The Machine, while also incorporating influences from iconic grunge and punk artists such as Nirvana, The Offspring, and Soundgarden.
Their debut single, ‘Chaos’, was released on February 1st, 2025. Blending elements of grunge and psychedelic into a powerful nu-metal foundation, the track showcases the band’s ability to push boundaries. Written by singer/frontman Kobe Van Den Hende (2011), guitarists Lenn Van Den Hende (2010) and Sus de Bock (2011), and drummer Niels Van Den Hende (2010), ‘Chaos’ is a promising debut that sets high expectations for future releases.
