BIOGRAPHY - Denis Kozlica (born on May 8, 1983)
The original love for music and making music appeared in the mid-90s when I was 12 years old. In love with the song Little wing by Jimi Hendrix in 2 weeks I learned to play it and that's how it all started. I soon met my first and only teacher, with whom I was already after the 2nd year of instructions began to perform playing flamenco, fusion, bossa nova, works inspired by the guitar trio of Paco de Lucia, John McLaughlin and Al Di Meola, on classical guitar, but also traditional compositions of the Balkan area, as well as compositions by A.C. Jobima.
My whole creative process starts with a melody ... some theme that emerges in a moment as a result of a memory, some past event or contemplation about myself, nature, people, events, something to listen to. I like to emphasize that moment then and take it as the starting point around which I most commonly build my songs. These are all subjective processes supported by emotions, but also by objectivity because the structure must exist. And finally ... when the vibration of the music I produce touches my heart, I know that vibration that the same will happen to other people's hearts as well, and in that lies the hidden power and magic of music.
Music is a path that I love and that I would not change for anything because I could not probably find such a meaning, pleasure or peace in anything else.
