Denis Sungho is a Belgian-Korean classical guitarist and composer. Adopted from Korea to Belgium at nine months old, he grew up between cultures—never fully belonging, but finding his voice through music.
He studied primarily with the legendary Odair Assad and spent a formative year under Sergio Assad, grounding his artistry in one of the most respected guitar traditions.
Blending classical roots with neoclassical and pop influences, Denis creates lyrical, spacious works that speak with emotional clarity. Composers like John Metcalfe and Debbie Wiseman have written for him. Signed to Universal Music, he has performed at Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonie, and the Martha Argerich Festival.
