Born in Ankara, he embarked on a mathematics education journey at Ankara University. However, his passion for music led him to take up the fretless guitar, prompting him to leave his studies citing the inability to dedicate adequate time to his musical pursuits. A significant association formed in 2011 when he met and studied with Cenk Güray on various topics, prominently Makam together. In 2012, his musical versatility expanded as he began playing the tanbur under the guidance of Murat Salim Tokaç.
Throughout his musical journey, he showcased his prowess with instruments like the bağlama, fretless guitar, tanbur, and even with his vocals at numerous concerts and projects.
Completing his master's in 2019, he presently advances his academic pursuits as a lecturer at Ankara Music and Fine Arts University. Simultaneously, he is writing his phd thesis and an active member of several music ensembles, showcasing his multi-faceted talents.
