Hello listeners! My name is Denyatta but my friends call me Dion(which is my middle name). I'm a multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter/part time producer in upstate NY. My main focus has always been on guitar, which you can see heavily featured on my Insta @ coopermaneuver but I enjoy playing piano trumpet and some drums as well. The music on my page is 100% written created recorded produced and promoted by me. Before you ask, I am not a control freak Im just completely in love with the process of music making and enjoy working in every aspect of a songs inception and creation.
Some of my biggest influences are featured in my playlist like Jimi, John mayer, Khalid, Childish Gambino Ect. I wont lie to you beautiful people but things may end up getting a little strange on here... I cannot (and will not) conform to a single genre of music. I will always try to make music that is enjoyable and relatable to people from all walks of life. Now I'm aware this isn't the best practice for Artists, especially new ones like myself and I know it goes against the "norm" but I firmly believe the best music/artists transcend outdated ideals left in the box from our predecessors. Sure it would be gratifying to be able to make 'good' music for my peers, but I want more. I want to be able to make that elderly lady on the bench at the park vibe with me. id like to reach the heart and souls of all people regardless of race or age. That's me in a nutshell now let's vibe!
