Deon Young

Deon Young is a Harlem born, multifaceted artist; singer, rapper, and songwriter. His versatile, innovative, and energetic sound is infusing new energy into the NYC music scene. He amassed features and collaborations with French Montana, Gunplay, Fivio Foreign, and more.


As a child, he was engrossed in both athletics and music. “My family played a lot of Hip Hop and R&B/Soul music—2pac, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Marvin Gaye, Babyface, Keith Sweat, James Brown, Michael Jackson, Usher, Trey Songz. That’s probably one of the reasons why I love music today.”


Deon began building a fan base by using YouTube to showcase his skills. He amassed over 2M views on his channel and began attracting the attention of A&Rs. The young prodigy earned himself a record deal and was signed to Sony Records before he was old enough to drive. Not satisfied with securing a deal, he continued to hone his skills and grow his value in the industry by writing hit records for Ariana Grande, Justine Skye, Cassie, and DJ Webstar to name a few. Deon has resurfaced on all platforms with a new style fusing R&B, Hip Hop, and Drill music together. He is currently an Independent artist and is signed to his own label “Forever Young Entertainment” and plans on doing business and venturing with a major label.
