((Depths)) is a project started in 2021 by Faizal Nur Muhammad Basef (<a href="spotify:artist:4CywxRk4D33psgDXRpvVl1" data-name="Eternal Desolator">Eternal Desolator</a>) on vocals and Fariz Rahman (<a href="spotify:artist:1dXmFXfniQWab6OKCf6Lsa" data-name="Monarch of Avarice">Monarch of Avarice</a>) on guitar and production as a side project or some would call “Internet Band”. Long story short, the band decided to add two other member, Ariq Athollah (<a href="spotify:artist:5LANUhYXpTOgkUfEGy9Qma" data-name="FLAWLESS">FLAWLESS</a>, Shorinji Fight) on bass and Purwa Rekaharta (<a href="spotify:artist:1jnDSmPFjIShfMQOawQ4pL" data-name="Evil Circle">Evil Circle</a>, Chaos Squad) on drums to complete the live line up.


The band sound can be described as mix between many different genre such as Hardcore, Powerviolence, Grindcore and Death Metal. The blending of each genres characteristic such as Blastbeat, Heavy breakdown, D-Beat and Swedish Death Metal influenced guitar tone leads to uniqueness of depths’s music.


The band also sports the DIY spirit as everything related to band releases are done by its own members. Each member with their own skills and taste contributed to all of the band’s product.
