The members of the band – all outstanding and committed musicians – first met at the set for the production of the Low-Budget-Movie "Der Fall Böse" about the life of a drug-addicted private investigator called Joachim Böse. Originally hired to produce the movie score, the musicians were obliged to also play all the characters in the film, due to the scarce budget. The movie turned out a grandiose flop at the box offices, and that was it. So they thought…
But shortly, the songs from the film score began a life of their own and appeared in different TV-spots and motion pictures. Eventually and consequently, the musicians gathered at a bar and founded the band "Der Fall Böse".
After meanwhile 8 studio albums and another motion picture, the seven guys from Hamburg-St. Pauli During a lasting career for the last 20 years the band became a significant part of the independent German music scene.
