Beginning with their second demo, 1992's "…the Confessions of a Necrophile," Sweden's Deranged set about making their case as one of the world's sickest, most gore-obsessed death metal outfits. Formed the previous year by Per Gyllenbäck (vocals), Johan Axelsson (guitar), Jean-Paul Asenov (bass) and Rikard Wermén (drums), the band was hampered by countless line-up changes and general indifference throughout the 1990's, but they've soldiered on regardless with a number of independent releases under their belts.
