Lerato Bonile, professionally known as Dereal Bonile, is a talented DJ and music producer from Wesselsbron, currently residing in Welkom, Free State, South Africa. Born on 8 January, he embarked on his music career in September 2021, drawing inspiration from Djy Zan SA and Djy Biza’s Black Is Brown Compilation Vol. 1. Dereal's music repertoire encompasses Amapiano, Hip-Hop, and House Music. Having previously pursued soccer, his affinity for music led him to explore a new path. He released his debut EP, My Journey Begins, on 17 March 2023. Dereal's breakthrough came in December 2023 with the song Ka Lezaza, featuring Ishuu Industry and Stebas707. He has performed at notable events such as Matjhabeng Summer Blow (MSB) and Social Connect, showcasing his exceptional DJ skills. Dereal received the Best Upcoming Artist 2024 Award in Wesselsbron. With a growing fan base, he boasts over 71,000 followers on Facebook and over 35,000 followers and 1 Million Likes on TikTok. Dereal continues to strive for greater recognition, aiming to establish himself as a prominent figure in the music industry. He recently joined the record label called SliQ Records in Virginia, The label has helped him to embrace his Talent. He asserts, 'I still need recognition because I'm not in the game yet, but if I get a chance, trust me, I'm going to kill this.'
