Derek Ariel Austin writes introspective, and often self-loathsome songs that deal with the pain and beauty of living in this world. His work spans various genres from folk, rock, and metal all the way to Christmas songs, and pop covers.
Born and raised just a few miles from philadelphia he has surrounded himself with super-skilled musicians and collaborators.
Derek has produced several albums with his various bands including “Grits and Grouper Soup” , “With Eyes Like Ours”, and several other local singer/songwriters.
