Desecrated is an up and coming death metal act from Lake County Illinois. They were originally founded by Jackson Allen, and his childhood friend, Hudson Kern in the summer of 2022 as a thrash metal project. Later Erick Pincombe joined as their second guitarist and then Javier Ambrosio on bass. After a short hiatus due to interpersonal conflict, their genre shifted from thrash to death metal. Xander Simone then joined in the summer of 2024 as their vocalist and later James McRae replaced Ambrosio on bass. Their first album was recorded entirely in Allen’s basement, and after a countless number of noise complaints, it was released on Halloween of 2024.
