We are Desert Raiders!!!
A Metal band from the small town Soure in Coimbra, Portugal. Founded in late 2018 by Henrique Martins (drums) and Daniel Batalha (vocals and guitar), starting by doing covers of rock classics. In January 2019 Daniel Diogo joined the band as the bassist and the band started going towards a heavier sound and pursuing the objective of recording original songs.
With many influences from Classic Rock, to Blues, passing by Jazz, and going all the way to Death Metal and everything in between, it might be difficult to caracterize our sound but with the love of post-apocalyptic media, like the Mad Max universe, we setled on a wasteland theme both lyrically and theme wise, so we decided to give the name of Wasteland Metal to our sound.
