Destrano is a singer and rapper from Arlington, VA — a suburb near the U.S. Capital, Washington D.C. In late 2016, he announced his intent to start a rap career in a joke video posted on King Phyre's Instagram page. In spring of 2017, he dropped his first track, “Wake Me Now”, as a promo single for his debut album. Soon after, he released his first album “A-Town” and his second album "In My Thoughts" the following year.

On June 2nd, 2017 he released his debut album, "A-Town". The album is mostly comedic and meme hip-hop. In totality, the album encompasses the essence of Destrano, a larger than life caricature of his real-life counterpart. The album was accompanied by videos posted to the "Bobtinin Productions" YouTube channel.

On May 2nd, 2018 he released “In My Thoughts”, his second album. Unlike his first album, In My Thoughts had a more serious tone, and comedic moments were not as prevalent. While the album had plenty of rap content, the genre of this album was heavily mixed with R&B, a major change from Destrano’s rap heavy debut album. With all these changes, a noticeable evolution and change could be seen in the direction, production, and performances of the artist.

Destrano is an independent musician under the "Bobtinin Sound" label. On June 17th, 2026 he released his first song in 8 years titled "Missing Parts". It is the lead-up to his upcoming album, "Run It Back", which is slated for release in Summer or Fall of this year.
