Coming together in March 2025 and hailing from Billingham in north east England, Detonata band, made up of Donovan Johnson (Vocals), Forrest Devine (Bass), Ryan Gibson (guitar), Joe Allison (Drums) and later Logan Walker ( Guitar ) had a mutual love for both heavy rock and grunge. Inspirations range from the new wave of british heavy metal in the early 1980’s to Guns and roses and Alice in chains, their debut single ‘lonely at the top’ was released on all major streaming platforms on November 8th. Detonata ‘s high energy, high octane shows hope to help revive classic heavy rock with each members own influences thrown into the mix.
