DEUSCASTIGA is a grindcore band from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, started in 2006 by Thiago Paiva (Drums) and Rafael Parra (Guitar) only to test new sound equipment. But after 13 songs done, we noticed that it would be cool to have a complete band to play them. That’s when Paulo (Bass) and Anderson Ferracini (Vocal) joined the band in 2009 to breakout all the violence in CD "I am alive fucking dead". Right after we launch the EP I’m alive fucking dead, we started to compose what was going to be called When paranoia comes, with an instrumental more slightly and concise. At this point, we were already a band with four members, unlike it was in the composition of the first EP. Thinking on bass and vocals, the compositions flowed more directly, with some frills and lots of ass kicking, of course, but objectively.

Most of the lyrics of the album were inspired on the lyric of the music Need to be victim. That was written by our former bassist Paulo Couto. The lyric speaks of a paranoid nuance of a seemingly normal person, who needs to have everything perfect around them, otherwise the paranoia takes over. When paranoia comes EP is a perfect album for anyone who has a little craziness in the head! Today the band is: Thiago Paiva(Drums), Rafael Parra(Guitars), Fabiano Klotz(Bass), Anderson Ferracini(Vocals).
