Devaney’s music hits different — unapologetically soulful, island-strong, and impossible to ignore.
Born in Mississauga, Canada and raised in the island of Bequia, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, her sound is a vibrant blend of R&B and Caribbean soul, mirroring the two places that shaped her identity.
She introduced herself in 2019 with her debut EP Time Will Tell, a 7-track diary of love, insecurity, and raw self-reflection. Sultry and emotive, the project quietly made its way across the globe — with “Tell Me” playing in H&M stores and malls around the world — a surreal moment for the young artist. But Devaney knew it was only the beginning.
She followed up with singles like “Exposed” and “Crazy,” leaning into the depths of R&B, before embracing her island roots with the reggae-tinged “Wild Fire,” “So Good,” and “Think of You.” Her goal? To blur the lines between genres, creating a sound that’s as fluid and multi-dimensional as she is.
In 2022, Devaney released “Up From Here” — a heartfelt anthem and music video filmed in Bequia. The visual served as a tribute to the little girl who dreamed big, and a reminder to every child watching that their voice matters too.
With each song, Devaney isn’t just telling her story — she’s building a bridge between cultures, memories, and generations. Guided by purpose, and grounded in both soul and sunshine, she’s carving out a lane entirely her own.
