Deveshi Sahgal is a Singer, Songwriter, and Composer from New Delhi whose artistry is rooted in Indian classical music yet effortlessly transcends genres. Her independent work reflects this versatility, but it is through her soulful renditions of sufiana kalaams that she has found her deepest passion and recognition—bringing together diverse musical influences on one evocative platform.
She has graced some of the country’s most prestigious Sufi festivals, including Jashn-e-Rekhta, Jahan-e-Khusrau, and the World Sacred Spirit Festival in Jodhpur. Her journey into Bollywood began with her debut as the lead singer of “Daryaa”, composed by acclaimed music director Amit Trivedi, followed by “Das Mein Ki Pyaar Vichon Khatteya” for the first season of Coke Studio Bharat.
Currently, she is working on her debut EP under Tiger Baby Records, the music label helmed by Ankur Tewari in collaboration with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti—marking the next exciting chapter of her musical journey.
