Devi 2000 is Chicago’s premier kirtan group, founded by singer/composer/harmonium player Debi Winston Buzil. Their four albums and two singles are rooted in Bhakti yoga, the yoga of devotion, the path of love. Blending Indian Sanskrit chant, English songs, world rhythms and grooves both electronic and acoustic, Devi 2000's songs have also been featured on TV shows such as “The L Word”. Group leader Debi Winston Buzil studied music in the motherlands of Brazil, India, and the U.S. and is the music editor of Yoga Chicago magazine. Devi is a firm believer in love.
