Deviate the Plan

Deviate the Plan’s hard rock style, energetic live performance, and captivating stage presence make them a force to be reckoned with in today’s modern rock scene! Formed in 2016, the band is comprised of Chris Whipple (Vocals/Guitar), James Pooley (Guitar), Carson Schaller (Bass), and Jake Jansen (Drums). Influenced by bands such as <a href="spotify:artist:2ye2Wgw4gimLv2eAKyk1NB" data-name="Metallica">Metallica</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:7jy3rLJdDQY21OgRLCZ9sD" data-name="Foo Fighters">Foo Fighters</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6gZq1Q6bdOxsUPUG1TaFbF" data-name="Godsmack">Godsmack</a>, Deviate the Plan bring forth sonic versatility that is not only hard hitting, but also melodic, captivating listeners to sing along, get moving, and beg for more! Since 2017, Deviate the Plan has supported national acts such as <a href="spotify:artist:59CIPNdUfewexxn1CJEdp5" data-name="Fozzy">Fozzy</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5S6hjAxgxjsLylsTtMIimO" data-name="Saliva">Saliva</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:5DG4mAvzfoF70wDbSd4wAJ" data-name="Wayland">Wayland</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:6WpMmtHYz6DhHhrQWx566m" data-name="Burn Halo">Burn Halo</a>. They also received an award for “Best Up and Coming Rock Act” from the Tampa Bay Music Network. In March of 2019, Deviate the Plan released their debut EP, the &#34;Last Stand - EP.&#34; It was produced, engineered, and mixed by Matt Dougherty, whose credits include <a href="spotify:artist:3TOqt5oJwL9BE2NG9MEwDa" data-name="Disturbed">Disturbed</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:1pRaG81GsVtaTBuVSpldt2" data-name="Pop Evil">Pop Evil</a>, and <a href="spotify:artist:1Yox196W7bzVNZI7RBaPnf" data-name="Megadeth">Megadeth</a>, and mastered by Yoad Nevo. In January 2020, Deviate the Plan returned to the studio, again with producer Matt Dougherty, and released their new single &#34;Addiction&#34; on June 4, 2021. With their no frills attitude, Deviate the Plan&#39;s formula of “Real, Raw, Rock” and their commitment to “Bringing Rock Back” is apparent both on record and during live performances!
