Dejon Blount, better known by his artist name, DeVibe IsReal. DeVibe is from Lancaster California, Born December 26, 1997. Growing up he played football, transitioned to both football and basketball once he got to Junior High. His passion for music started with just beats to songs at a young age, and dancing was a early passion. As he got older, the more wise he got, the more he started to understand lyrics. “The Miracle Child” Dejon had emergency surgery young, and in 2018 suffered a tragic motorcycle accident. That accident was a blessing in disguise, had he not experienced such trauma, we probably wouldn’t receive the music he’s been pouring on us over the course of the past 2 1/2 years. Inspired by Dreamville’s “ROTD 3” along with their Documentary, and a range of Iconic artists. Vibey seems to have taken bits and pieces from all of his favorites to create his own unique sound!
